The bar counter was designed with sharp, faceted angles. These angles, the main character of the millwork, are cut and joined to create a unique style. The light catches every single edge differently. As you walk around it, this counter feels more like a sculpture than a regular counter.

Ricco’s team made every detail by hand, from the first sketches up to the final installation. Everything is custom-made. Each joint, mitre, and surface was planned and built in their Vaughan workshop, then delivered and installed as a single piece.

Behind the counter, a full-height bar wall in deep matte black gives the room a calm feel. Open shelves on both sides, made from the same wood, offer warmth and depth to the dark background. The wine fridge and glassware storage are built into the wall, so everything feels like one seamless piece instead of separate appliances and cabinets.

The lower cabinets feature the same detailing as the bar counter: sharp, faceted angles. If the design was intentional, this millwork makes it feel as if nothing was designed before.
