Forma The Magazine (“Forma The Magazine”, “We”, “Us”) respects your right to personal privacy and approaches all communications through our website with respect for, and commitment to, protecting your privacy rights.

  • Clear GIFs: We may use clear GIFs to collect aggregate data regarding email newsletter open rates; however, we do not collect personal information regarding readers in this manner.

6. Refer-a-Friend Features
If you use our referral service to inform a friend about our Site:

  • We will ask for the friend’s name and email address.

  • We will send a one-time email on your behalf inviting them to visit the Site.

  • The email will identify you as the sender.

  • The friend’s information will then be deleted from our database.
     

IMPORTANT: You may only refer friends/family from whom you have received permission. You may only refer individuals with whom you have a personal or family relationship (as defined by Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation), meaning you have had two-way communication within the past two years or are related by blood, marriage, common-law partnership, or adoption.

7. Children’s Privacy
We never knowingly solicit, collect, store, or disclose information from children under 13 years of age. If a child under 13 wishes to disclose personal information, they must provide a parent/guardian’s email for express consent. If we discover a child has provided us with information without consent, the parent/guardian should contact us immediately to have it deleted.

8. Third-Party Links
Once you click a link that takes you away from our Site, you are no longer under the control of Forma The Magazine. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of every website you visit.

9. Security
We regard the security of personal information as paramount. We have taken technical, contractual, organizational, and physical security steps to protect your data.

  • Data is maintained with the source in Toronto, Ontario, and/or servers in the United States.

  • Only authorized employees who require access to fulfill their job requirements handle your data.

  • You are responsible for protecting your password and signing off from shared computers.


10. Changes to this Policy
Forma The Magazine reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. If we make changes, we will post them on this Site so you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it. We will seek your consent if we wish to use your information for purposes other than those previously agreed to.
