SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT SECTION
By voluntarily submitting any text, photographs, architectural plans, or other materials (collectively, "Submissions") to us via email, through our website, or via social media, you expressly agree to the following terms:
-
Grant of Rights: You grant Forma The Magazine the non-exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual right to publish, reproduce, and display your Submissions in our e-journal, our e-magazine, and across all our official social media channels.
-
No Sale or Third-Party Sharing: We respect your work. Forma The Magazine will use your Submissions solely for our own publication purposes. We will not sell your Submissions, nor will we share them with unauthorized third parties for their own independent use.
-
User Responsibility & Liability: You retain ownership of your work, but you bear full responsibility for the content you submit. By sending us Submissions, you guarantee that you own the rights to the materials or have obtained all necessary permissions from the copyright owners (including photographers and clients) to allow us to publish them. Forma The Magazine assumes no liability for copyright infringement, confidentiality breaches, or disputes arising from the publication of materials you have provided to us.
-
Implied Consent: Sending us an inquiry or project constitutes your full agreement to these terms.
SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT SECTION
By submitting your company information to the Forma The Magazine Network, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding how your data will be used, reviewed, and displayed on our platform.
1. Information We Collect
To create your company’s profile and ensure we can properly verify your business, we collect two types of information through our submission form:
-
Public Company Information (Published on our website): Company Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Address, Website Link, Company Specialty, Company Category, Area/Region/Province of Operation, and Company Description.
-
Private Contact Information (Strictly confidential): Submitter's Full Name and Personal Email Address for emergency/internal contact.
2. How We Use Your Information
We respect your privacy. Forma The Magazine will use the information provided solely to audit, create, and manage your company profile within our network. We will not sell, distribute, or use your data for outside marketing purposes. Your private contact information will only be used by our team to contact you regarding your profile, verification inquiries, or emergencies.
3. Review, Audit, and Rating Process
Forma The Magazine acts as an independent curatorial reviewer. We conduct a rigorous, multi-point audit to maintain the integrity of our network. By submitting your company, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
Comprehensive Audit: Our team will review your submission and conduct an independent investigation into your public digital presence, portfolio authenticity, and public reputation.
-
Verification Methods: This audit may include verifying your business registration, reviewing third-party platforms (such as Google, Houzz, and Trustpilot) , and utilizing digital tools to verify portfolio imagery (including AI-detectors and reverse image searches).
-
Tiered Rating System: Instead of standard reviews, we assign an editorial rating based on our internal scoring criteria (combining Risk and Quality assessments). Approved companies will be assigned a public tier: Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Verified.
-
Editorial Discretion: Forma The Magazine reserves the right to approve, tier, or reject any submission at our sole discretion.
4. Automatic Disqualification
To protect our users and network, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for certain infractions. Your submission will be immediately rejected and disqualified if our audit reveals:
-
Plagiarism: Claiming project photos from other designers or trades as your own.
-
Major Legal/Ethical Flags: Active BBB alerts, severe public disputes, or confirmed scams.
-
Unresponsiveness: Failing to respond to the Forma team's verification inquiries within 15 days of contact.
5. Duration and Removal
-
Standard Duration: Once approved, your company profile will remain active on the Forma The Magazine platform for a period of one (1) year.
-
Profile Extensions & Re-review: After your one-year period expires, your profile will not automatically renew. You will have the option to request an extension, at which point your company will undergo a fresh review and receive an updated rating tier.
Early Removal: You have the right to request the removal of your profile at any time before the one-year period expires. Upon receiving a written request from the private contact email on file, we will promptly remove your company’s profile from our network.
6. Rating Disputes and Appeals Process
Forma The Magazine’s rating tiers are determined through a combination of objective data verification and independent curatorial assessment. By participating in this network, you acknowledge that the curatorial score (including Brand presentation, Design consistency, Professional perception, Innovation/originality, and Evaluator Confidence) is an expression of our evaluator's professional opinion.
If you believe your assigned tier is incorrect, you may request a re-evaluation under the following conditions:
-
Factual Inaccuracies Only: Appeals will only be considered if you can provide documented proof of a factual error during the audit process (e.g., incorrectly flagged registration issues, missed portfolio links, or verifiable credentials that were initially missed). We do not accept appeals based on disagreements with our editorial or curatorial opinions.
-
Submission Timeline: You must submit your appeal in writing to our internal contact email within fourteen (14) days of receiving your rating notification.
-
Final Determination: Upon receiving an appeal, our team will review the provided documentation. Any subsequent rating adjustment—or decision to maintain the current rating—is completely at the discretion of Forma The Magazine and is considered final.
