50 Years of Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery Exhibition (ENDING)

Celebrate 50 years of the Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery with a special anniversary exhibition running April 21 to August 8, 2026.


Explore the gallery's history through artifacts, archives, and paintings from the City of Toronto's permanent collection. Watch the present come alive with a newly commissioned piece by early-career artist Lise Round, and glimpse the future through updated designs for the gallery space.


Since 1976, the gallery has presented more than 500 exhibitions, nurturing emerging talent and celebrating community creativity.


Don't miss the 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 25, 2026, 2-4 p.m. Located at 399 The West Mall, Etobicoke, the gallery is open Mon-Sat (closed Sundays and statutory holidays). Admission is free; no reservations required.

Archi·North Summer Camp (ENDING)

Archi·North Summer Camp: a bilingual, in-person program by Laurentian University's McEwen School of Architecture in Sudbury, for high schoolers entering grades 11-12. No experience needed. 5-day sessions cover drafting, design & model-making. English & French, July 2026, $200-350+HST. Bursaries available for Northern Ontario & Indigenous students.

Dreamers: The Art of Revery Architecture (ENDING)

Explore the aesthetic imagination of Revery Architecture, led by design principal Venelin Kokalov, who partnered with Bing Thom for 14 years before renaming the firm after Thom's 2016 death. Kokalov's hand-drawn process yields a curvilinear style favoring poetic form over cost. Supported by the Patterson Rozee Family Foundation.

MVRDV's Carbon Confessions (ENDING)

Carbon Confessions is a travelling exhibition drawing on 30+ years of MVRDV's carbon-reduction work, making its first North American stop in Toronto. TMU Architectural Science Summer Camps 2026 (ENDING)

TMU's Architectural Science Dept. runs week-long summer day camps (Weeks 1, 2, 3, 5) for kids ages 9–13. Led by top architecture students, campers build creative projects like inflatable houses, cardboard bridges, and interactive walls, balanced with active games. A Digital Creativity track covers 2D graphics. Curriculum by Prof. Vince Hui.
