Just beyond the edge of the University of Guelph campus, tucked against the quiet green sprawl of the Guelph Arboretum, a new kind of research building has taken root. It doesn't shout for attention. Instead, it hums, quite literally, with the rhythm of thousands of tiny wings. This is the Honey Bee Research Centre (HBRC), a 14,000-square-foot facility built not just to study bees, but to make their world visible to everyone else.
