Leading with Landscape: Toronto's Waterfront Transformation is a free three-day conference and exhibition hosted by the University of Toronto's John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, examining Toronto's shoreline as a global model of landscape-led city-building. 

Day One opens with an exhibition reception, a book introduction for "How to Build a River," and keynotes from Ken Greenberg, Charles Waldheim, and Julia Czerniak. Day Two brings a full day of panels on Indigenous reconciliation, waterfront revitalization, landscape as infrastructure, urban shoreline design, cultural generators, and urban re-wilding, featuring voices from Waterfront Toronto, MVVA, West 8, Field Operations, Stoss, SLA, and the City of Toronto, alongside Elders and Indigenous leaders. Day Three closes with a guided walking tour of Biidaasige Park led by MVVA. These sessions explore climate resilience, reconciliation, and design shaping Toronto's waterfront future.
