The International Garden Festival returns for its 27th edition, "Mapping Sensitivity," running June 20 to October 4, 2026, at Reford Gardens in Grand-Métis, Québec, Canada. 

Curated by artistic director Ève De Garie-Lamanque, this edition continues a triennial cycle exploring the poetics of space. Moving beyond last year's geopolitical theme, "Borders," it draws on sensitive mapping to trace the subjective, emotional, and lived dimensions of place. Designers worldwide were invited to create gardens using an inclusive, relational approach. Highlights include Hugh Taylor's "Again, a Garden," Patrick Bérubé's "Back / Ground," and Simon Barrette's "You Shall (Not) Pass," as well as works by CCxA, Atelier le balto, and MVVA. 

Visitors wander through nearly 30 imaginative installations within Reford Gardens' historic grounds, blending art, architecture, and design with the site's renowned horticultural collection. Admission is included with entry to Les Jardins de Métis.
