Welcome to Forma The Magazine

We don't simply publish projects.

We share the stories that shape the future.

Every remarkable building begin with an idea.

Ideas deserve to be discovered. Creators deserve recognition. Design deserves thoughtful conversations.

FORMA exists to connect visionary professionals with readers who believe that architecture and design have the power to improve the world.

What you see today began as a simple blog: a place to share thoughts, projects, and the everyday realities of working in architecture and design. That blog grew into a Journal, a space for deeper stories and honest conversations about our industry. From there, we built a Magazine — bringing together showcases, editorial, and inspiration in one home. And because none of this ever felt complete without connection, we created a Network, so the people behind the work could find each other.

That evolution is still unfolding. Forma isn't a finished product — it's a platform that keeps building itself, one issue, one project, one conversation at a time.

Forma is built by professionals, for professionals. We're architects, designers, engineers, builders, suppliers, students, and creators — people who understand what it means to sit with a problem until it becomes a solution, and who know that no project ever gets built alone. This is a space where a student sharing a first project stands alongside an established studio unveiling its latest work, because good ideas don't need a big name behind them to matter.

We don't look at this industry through the lens of big firms and bigger names. We look at people. Creative people who want to share what they know, learn from each other, and keep getting better at their craft. That's the heart of Forma — not a hierarchy, but a community.

Across our pages, you'll find project showcases that go beyond the finished photo — the stories of how a home, a public building, or a landscape came to be. You'll find editorial coverage of the ideas shaping our industry today: biophilic design, net-zero architecture, warm minimalism, and the technology quietly changing how things get built. And you'll find the practical side too — competitions to enter, expos and events to attend, career resources for those still finding their path, and a network built to help professionals connect, submit their work, and grow.

The platform grows with that community. We update frequently, keeping the content fresh and responsive, and we bring regular news from the design and construction world — so Forma stays as alive and evolving as the industry it covers. New issues, new projects, new voices: this is a place that moves at the same pace as the field it belongs to.

At the end of the day, architecture and design are deeply personal. They shape how we live, grow, and connect through every stage of life. Great design bridges past and future, creating spaces that evolve with us — and we believe the platform that covers it should evolve right alongside it. We invite you to explore the human stories woven into the brick, light, and landscapes of the spaces we inhabit. And we invite you to be part of building what comes next. comes next.
