From May 27 to June 4, 2027, Montréal Design Week returns for a second edition, turning the city into a stage for architecture and design. The 2026 debut drew 20,500-plus visits across 70-plus addresses, and 2027 builds on that under the theme "Imprint: What Remains," exploring what gives design lasting value. At the week's heart are the professional Index-Design Days: the Salon Index-Design, in its 5th year, takes over the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal on May 28, gathering manufacturers, distributors and creators for Québec's largest annual design event. 

On June 1, the Index-Design Conference Day at the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal brings local and international voices to key issues in the field, joined in 2027 by a new day of professional training. Free public programming also spans the city, with open addresses, exhibitions, installations, tours and talks revealing the spaces shaping Montréal's design scene.
